My name is Sascha Nemecek and I was born on 21st August 1978 in Linz/Austria. Since 1982 I live in Vienna/Austria. It's very nice here and I've found no better place to live until yet.

I've finished my education in information technologies at the HTL Wien 22 in 1997. After the school leaving examination 23 of 27 pupil of my class went to Kos in Greece to destroy what we've lernt with alcohol :). We were really successful.

After summer I went to the fucking army for my military service. It was real nice. I was ordered to Götzendorf which lies on the ass of the earth. That may be the reason why there are a lot of smallasses.

In July 1998 I and my best friend Bernie went on an Interrail tour through Europe. We saw Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Kopenhagen, Stockholm, Prag, Paris, Arcachon (see picture), Lissabon and San Sebstian. It was the best and cheapest trip I ever had. We had a lot of fun and met many fantastic people.

At the moment I'm studying economics information at the Uni-Wien and the TU-Wien. I've already done all my exams and "only" have to finish my diploma thesis. I hope I can finish my studies this year (2002). I've created a little homepage where I've documented mainly the first apron of my studies.

By the way I'm also working for the austrian energy agency. My tasks are database and webdesign but I'm also server administration. All in all a great job.

Hobbies

My favourite kind of music is Punk and "Deutschrock" but I also like to listen to classics and metal. In my spare time I like to play guitar and sing a little bit.

I also like to play computer games. Since 1999 I'm in the Austrian Counter-Strike clan Wiener Blut whichsoever I lead for 2 years now.

One of my other hobbies is to work with linux. What's very useful for my job.
